Do such monstrous buses exist? Can they be alternatives to trains and planes?
Are there such gigantic buses? Could they become alternatives to trains and planes?
I was about to believe that these super monster articulated double-decker busses exist, till I noticed that the name of the British bus operator “Beestones” placed on the last carriage is somehow not in proper proportions with the size of the bus. Searching the internet for the truth, I found that it seems there are some enthusiasts who would like to see such monstrous buses in the future and love to hang such posters or use them as screen savers. Most of the images here are imaginative creations by Riquelme Robles Marcos Eduardo.

In reality though, there are few bus manufacturing companies who had made some bi-articulated buses as well as double-decker bi-articulated ones but not as monstrous as Riquelme’s imaginative buses. The world’s highest capacity bi-articulated bus is the Chinese 300 passenger Youngman JNP6250G introduced in 2007.
Despite this, however, there are in fact a few bus manufacturers that have manufactured some bi-articulated buses (i.e. two additional cars) in addition to the twin buses. The double-decker joint but not the gigantic of the fictional Riquelme Buses. The highest capacity two-joint bus in the world is the Chinese Yongman Bus JNP6250G with a capacity of 300 passengers which was introduced in 2007.
